the point of no return

Yep. I'd say we were officially there. There is no turning back now. Am I anxious and overwhelmed that there is a tremendous hole in our back yard? Who me? Surely you wouldn't think that! Okay...maybe a little.
Looks refreshing doesn't it? I know you must be ready to dive right in. Well, talk to me in about a week. I am sure my perspective will be quite different.

If you can see the boys in the background, I am sure you can imagine how interesting baths can be after playing in the Georgia clay. We practically had to hose them down outside.

The pool will be here tomorrow. Of course, I'll keep you updated on the progress...AND my nerves. Have a great afternoon.

batter up!

Our Saturday was spent at the rec. department - along with what seemed like thousands of other people. I cannot imagine a better way to spend the day...a t-ball game, visits with old and new friends and a trip to the "confession stand" (at least that is what my boys call the concession stand.) What they are planning on confessing is beyond me. Looks like that is where we'll be having dinner tonight, too. Go Indians!

And, while he is not old enough for t-ball quite yet, my future base-runner is pretty darn cute! Hope your week is off to a fantastic start!

young guest artist

My five-year old has been after me for quite some time to help him design a piece of jewelry that he could give to me. When he came home today asking to do his homework right away so that he could stamp something, it was awfully hard for me to say no. After all, he made three 100s on various tests at school today. So, not only is he smart...but he's talented, too! (I can say these things since I'm his mother!) Let me introduce to you Walker's very own crazy robot design! He really came up with this all by himself. Now, this one is obviously mine, all mine; however, you can have your very own for the low, low price of only $3 - he sets his own prices! Let me tell you that this is a BARGAIN! I feel like this is the place where I'm supposed to throw in some Ginzu knives, but I can tell you that is not a part of the deal.

Look at my sweet designer!

Hope you're having a great week!!

Mother's Day Discount!

Sorry for the blogging absence. Between spring break and new orders coming in, I really have not found much time to be on the computer. But, I am back in action and here with a discount. As you all know (or at least I hope it is on your radar screen), Mother's Day is just around the corner. What better gift to give any mother than jewelry - better yet, jewelry personalized with the names of her children! You can choose a design from my blog, or we can discuss a custom piece designed especially for you. Either way, you need to take advantage of a 10% discount on all orders between now and Mother's Day!

Take a look at one of my new pieces. This necklace was designed for a friend of mine who has seven grandchildren. We needed to fit all seven names on a necklace, and I think it turned out great. She hasn't seen it yet, so I hope she loves it!
